In the discipline of people care in a Christian context, licensed counselors are both privileged with and required to pursue continuing education. In their pursuit of knowledge they enhance their ability to “do no harm.” In lay counseling (biblical, pastoral, one-another care) no similar privilege is required. At Help[H]er, it is our desire that we exceed expected continuing education guidelines required for  professionals in order to glorify God and ensure the integrity of the process as well as the dignity of each Care Recipient. We recognize that God has created all people in His image, and therefore they have the right to be valued and respected and to the best of our ability receive gracious care.
