In this world God’s people

Will have suffering

God will give us grace to…

Endure…patiently

When wrong seems right

And right seems wrong

God calls us to speak truth and

When there was abuse and fear…I

Endured…patiently

If painful memories return

My tears overflow

I pray…and

Endure…patiently

When the pieces are still cracked

I go to the chapel in my heart

I pray…and

Endure…patiently

God says do not be surprised

In our sufferings

So, pray…and

Endure…patiently

When this work seems too hard

God reminds me

To pray…and

Endure…patiently

Through decades of abuse I

Endured…patiently

Putting words to things

Through many tears

With Jesus by my side

I will pray…and

Endure…patiently

Until Jesus returns
