Remember to petition God for yourself!

Nehemiah 13:31

“And I arranged for the supply of wood at appointed times and for the first fruits. Remember me, O my God, for good.”

Remember those who fall away from the Lord. Remember to petition God on their behalf.

Nehemiah 13:29

Remember them, O my God, because they have defiled the priesthood and the covenant of the priesthood and the Levites.”

35

Remember me, have compassion. Not because of me, but because of YOUR lovingkindness O Lord.

Nehemiah 13:22

“And I commanded the Levites that they should purify themselves and come as gatekeepers to sanctify the sabbath day. For this also remember me, O my God, and have compassion on me according to the greatness of Thy lovingkindness.”

34

Remember to listen, remember God’s wondrous deeds, His forgiveness, grace, and compassion. Remember He is slow to anger and abounds in loving kindness. Remember He will not forsake you.

Nehemiah 9:17

“And they refused to listen, And did not remember Thy wondrous deeds which Thou hadst performed among them; So they became stubborn and appointed a leader to return to their slavery in Egypt. But Thou art a God of forgiveness, Gracious and compassionate, Slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness; And Thou didst not forsake them.”
